As a Buyer at Greenhawk you will work in conjunction with and report to a senior Product Manager; training, assisting and performing day to day purchasing requirements. Successful buyers will in turn assume greater responsibilities progressing toward Product Manager responsibility. This position will plan, source, negotiate, schedule, monitor and maintain purchase orders to meet quality, delivery, inventory targets and cost expectations. Some candidates will participate in the product development process.

An analytical ability, keen interest in equestrian sport, strong work ethic and enthusiastic attitude are strong attributes ideal for this candidate. Prior experience in merchandising, purchasing and retail management is an asset.

Product Manager - Purchasing Department

Product Managers are at the centre of merchandising and planning at Greenhawk and interact closely with most other departments. Product Managers are responsible for product selection, development, sourcing and merchandising. Time management and project development skills are a key asset.

A strong analytical ability, keen interest in equestrian sport, strong work ethic and enthusiastic attitude are ideal attributes for this candidate. Prior experience in merchandising, purchasing or retail management is essential.

The Product Manager is responsible for performing purchasing and planning functions. Maximizing productivity, product quality, value and customer satisfaction are end goals. Responsible for the development and execution of merchandising plans based on financial budgets, fashions trends, and the needs of the customer. You enjoy and understand the art of negotiation.

Greenhawk is seeking a well rounded individual with prior experience maintaining and developing business applications with a specific focus on ERP and Retail Software. In addition this individual will be responsible maintaining network servers and workstations for proper operation, excellent knowledge on how to resolve network, computer and user-related issues with custom software solutions, and ability to maintain and continue to develop our corporate e-commerce website.
